Project Description

We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us

The Caprivi strip which in contrast to the rest of Namibia is a lush high rainfall oasis and the gateway to the Okavango Delta.

The north-eastern savannah is the most stereotypically African landscape of the countries four geographic habitats. This region receives on average 500 mm of rain per year Рwhich is very generous by Namibian standards and therefore supports the densest concentrations of people in Namibia Рthis is the land of the Four Rivers, where you find the Kwando, the Zambezi, the Chobe and the Okavango and is a great staging post from which exploration into the Okavango Delta is as simple as a chip and a putt.
